Here at Sound Wellness, we provide a holistic approach designed to reconnect your mind and your body, helping you to reduce the level of stress, anxiety and to re-start the process of recovery as well as create a much-needed sense of relaxation.

A corporate session provides physical and emotional support and benefits for participants. It is a wonderful group engagement activity bringing recipients together in an inclusive environment . Treatment is focused on supporting clients to relax and calm their minds, enabling a reprieve from their daily concerns.

All sessions are fully customised with people responding and noticing the benefits often in a relatively short space of time.

The format of a corporate / group session is one hour in duration including: a welcoming / introduction, 45 minute session and Q&A afterwards. The total cost of the session depends on the number of participants and location.

You can incorporate Sound Therapy into one of the following areas:

  • Well-being Events in Healthcare Services, Hospitals and Hospices - There are many proven benefits of using therapeutic sound to improve the well-being of patients. Including calming the mind, reducing anxieties, relieving tension and pain, aiding relaxation, reducing heart rate and blood pressure, improving cognitive function and mental clarity, developing co-ordination and motor skills, enhancing creativity, balancing the nervous system.

  • Aged Care Facilities - Sound therapy can do wonders to help seniors lower their stress levels, increase relaxation, and stimulate brain activity. It is well known that the deep sounds of the gong are great for invoking feelings of calm and happiness that benefit the physical body. In the early stages of dementia, Sound Therapy can be introduced with ease, to be worn during the day or at night while sleeping. It will generally be welcomed by the patient and may give them an immediate sense of relief and inner connection and balance.

  • AA Health and Recovery Centres - The way in which the sound waves pass through the body – stimulating red blood cells and opening up the blood supply to all organs throughout the body – is supremely impactful. Gongs are known to stimulate the limbic system, forcing your muscles to relax and creating a sense of whole-body wellness. Since we approach addiction therapy through a comprehensive holistic lens, we are able to provide an atmosphere in which the mind, body and soul can align and achieve health and harmony. Although sound therapy provides many benefits, stress relief and reduction are among the most significant during drug and alcohol detox. Stress can contribute to greater discomfort and more severe withdrawal symptoms. The right sound vibrations can alleviate that stress and provide much-needed relaxation for clients.

  • Anger and Anxiety Management Classes - In order to create a healthy relationship between ourselves and feeling anxious we need to first start developing a relationship with our mind.  Sound baths are known to have positive effects on the symptoms of stress. Especially the sound of a gong has a profound effect on our cardiovascular, autonomic, endocrine and immune systems. Its resonance strikes deep within the cells of your body, creating a harmonic attunement that allows you to enter a deeply calm meditative state. Sound bath is also an excellent therapy alternative for stress related issues, depression, fatigue, anger and hostility, feelings of separation, loneliness, and fear along with many other conditions related to lack of balance and harmony in the body.
